Well, if a stock needs a buyback program (WHC has blown almost a $Bn on this one, and nothing to show for it, except for the executing broker USB?) to sustain its sp, then it is indeed in a very difficult condition. Fundamentals and market sentiment inter alia, have an impact on the sp. Perhaps the market is re-assessing WHC due to its inept management.
