Fortunately, we don't have to rely on anyone's memory [not even mine] about what employees of Airservices Australia may or may not have been doing in the past.
As a Government Business Enterprise they are required, under the Air Services Act 1995, to table an Annual Report to Parliament every year. Their highly detailed reports are freely available online for anyone interested in fact checking, rather than speculation.
