Hey mate, Western Digital have the option to purchase a 20 year non-exclusive license and notification of a potential commercial deal.

Both Western Digital and 4DS Memory have the right to terminate the JDA without notice providing a 30 day period.

Dr WvdH mentioned at the vAGM that the JDA greatly benefits 4DS Memory. Now that 4DS Memory has come out of imec with its technology, the JDA as it stands is possibly redundant.

I will not be surprised if 4DS Memory scrap the JDA.
However it will be interesting if Western Digital pull the trigger on purchasing the 20 year non-exclusive license option or exclusively acquire the technology outright.

Everything changes post imec qualifying 4DS Non-filament Interface Switching ReRAM.

Yesterday’s 4DS no longer exists.
