Imo any LT investors concerned about the sp should consider its direct but only loose connection to fundamentals - remember the sp went higher than it currently is before we had even produced BG carbonate from the pilot plant…!
The big dogs with deep pockets will push the short-term price wherever suits them. Overlaid plots of short volume vs sp in 2023 tell an informative story of contributing factors. Big dogs playing both sides of the coin and want fluctuation to increase returns.
Progress continues and there are no deal-breakers in sight afaict.
Construction of 10ktpa expansion was always sequential to 2ktpa operating; feet-dragging by govt is frustrating but still has little impact on overall project progress afaik. Puna team busy dialling in plant, not just sitting around waiting for signatures.
Will be fun to watch other juniors when they are at this stage, IF they ever get there.
