These LCD’s seem an odd process. Can any entity propose one and put entire areas on notice? Seems a big stick to wield by competitors with receptive funding bodies constantly looking to trim expenses.
That said PEB is a solitary company with a niche and new test and so much more vulnerable. MIGS has many more companies involved and likely more clinicians as proponents. It would cause a much bigger stink if this LCD got up.
