wheat futures jump to 13 month highs, page-2

more to come imo. To think i opened a position 6 weeks ago whereby i would gain/lose US$175 for each one cent change in wheat price when bushel price was just over US$4.50. I closed at US$5.30 about 17 days later. Makes my head spin to think about it, esp when i knew wheat crops were in strife... and was telling everyone incl posts on HC general thread. sigh... that's investing for u. I usually close-out too early and seldom learn.
PS. I was staggered to see wheat price drop as low as it did in late May/early June. Amazing turn-around for such a huge commodity. Price of east coast wheat now A$259/ton.
