If shorts were closing, the SP should be rising not falling. Unless you mean insto's are manipulating to bring price down for the shorts to cover without a loss? Wouldnt surprise me with the shananigans that were afoot when the price was driven from 1.25 to 13c, held flat for months to accumulate presumable in the $1s, $2s, $3s, $4s and even now!
