Fed Chair Jerome Powell told the annual Jackson Hole symposium the central bank is "prepared to raise rates further if appropriate" and keep them "at a restrictive level until we are confidence that inflation is moving sustainably down toward our objective." The ten-year bond rate has been falling for 40 years - yes 40 years! - but has now broken out above the trend line.

As we know any hike in rates will suck money out of the equity market and growth stocks are usually hit the hardest here. More specifically on our lithium stocks I note that lithium carbonate (China spot) was down 0.89% to US$31,023 per tonne over the weekend. The LCE price has been falling for around five weeks now.
