There is never such a thing as the perfect entry price point except for the few lucky ones who manage to catch near or at the bottom. One just have to focus on the price to value gap, and determine whether the gap (positive and negative) accurately reflects and justifies the discount or premium. This is where it helps to have one's own valuation and have confidence in it over the test of times.
And I wouldn't judge anything by the depth. I still recall when I bought between 7 and 12c, there were so little liquidity that Instruggled to buy 200k shares on some days. And this applies to rising tide too. Just because the buy side is stacked at one given period in time doesn’t mean it won't turn quickly.
Not that I am ever that swayed by price movements (I don't know how one can be and still be alive with all the fluctuations we have had in the past), but maybe I am particularly calm at this point in time because I had sold down 40% of my holdings and have only bought back around half of it thus far. So a fall actually suits me just fine
