I am starting to believe that this is all the work of momentum algos, try adding a mid size order (20-50k shares) 1-2 prices below active buy line. Observe what happens to the buy and sell ladder immediately once order is posted. Tens of buy orders show up around your order and above it and the first line of sell side gets taken out. It’s happened 4 times to me this week every time I try to hold the 50c point.
