I have just been listening again to the recent corporate webcast on the Mesoblast site as I seemed to remember during an answer to John Hester that FDA would not allow Mesoblast to do the adult trial until all other boxes ticked - so a rock and a hard place - can't get the approval for paediatric use without another trial but can't have the other trial until they say so.
Worth listening to Questions from around the 12.30 minute mark onwards. As we are in the "Next steps" thread here it is worth noting that Silviu seems to be saying that the Adult trial should give us approval for both paediatric and Adult use. If that happens in what he believes will be a much shorter trial, we as shareholders and long term supporters of Mesoblast have something to hope for and so do many very poorly patients.
