Remember when Ebay and myspace was first getting started. Most people thought they were a waste of time and they would never get off the ground. A lot of people even thought the internet was a waste of time in the early 90s and asked the question "why!' Well the rest of the story is history.
I believe that ipTV is heading the same way. For anyone that has a Sony playStation with playTV, the ABCs iView internet TV is the best thing in TV since sliced bread. iView has ABCs programs available for streaming for 2 weeks after the program airs on TV and the quality is incredible. I use iView all the time as i don't have to worry if i miss a program on ABC and I don't have to worry about recording them, you just go to the menu and select the program you would like to watch anytime of the day or night.
It would be my guess that even the major TV stations will have to offer ipTV in the future to keep up.
Once the momentum builds, you wont be able to stop it!
