One needs to go into the finer tech points and understand some audiology to differentiate products. But according to pig's they are all the same and can be bought for 3 bucks OEM. That is as stupid as dragging a 3 ton caravan with a Yaris. Since Toyota makes both Yaris and LandCruiser so they are the same. Here it is all Bluetooth. That's why I anticipate details on the new generation. The current one is stock standard and not better than a Airpod 3 pro. Myself don't like things plugging up my ears so I use Airpod 2 I had first gen NUH and tried second gen NUH but both don't fit my ears and I get tired using them. AirPods 2 are great but has no hearing aid ability. With open fit as an Airpod 2 there are tech challenges that a 3 bucks OEM from China cannot resolve. That's where you need deeper system knowledge to bring that to a HAD. The challenge lay in bringing in audio from out side to the ear while mixing with the tunes. Open fit is more delay sensitive and you get feedback problems. Hence my comparison above. I hope the new generation are open fit with some bells and whistles. But in the end of the day it needs to be executed and funded I think 10-15 million dollars is the cost to get it out. If new generation tech is attractive enough some of it could come from OEM.
