Is anyone else confused by the terminology in these trading halt notices? When I read "the earlier of normal trading on Wednesday 30 August etc etc" I expect that either we should have received a formal notice of the acquisition/raising by now or a notice that the Halt is being extended with a new target date for an update.
I presume the update is imminent so this is all a bit moot but still seems a little sloppy. If they didn't think they'd have the details sorted by now wouldn't they have been better to set the notified target resumption for tomorrow?
