I pondered on the insider trading thing. Based on the fact that management are aware of the offer prices that were tabled for the Blackspur asset and how much they can be sold for (what would effectively be a takeover now). There is implication that the best offer price for Blackspur was higher than the SP is today and where the SP will be after the EX Divvy date. I wonder, is that considered insider trading or is it unreasonable for them to be prevented from ever buying any more stock based on the fact that they have the confidential knowledge from a previous offer.
I take some comfort from the fact that Management is buying, clearly it is to show support and help the SP along following some devastating news, but I also read into it that the people in the know clearly feel the SP is currently undervalued by the market.
For the record, I have been buying today.
