Brisbane Meeting - Redomicile to USA, page-132

@Huge Jaxxon It might have been me that you were talking about as I reported a couple weeks ago that I had contacted CommSec and they informed me that I would not be able to transfer my existing shares over to them once they redomicile.

I have since taken that info with a grain of salt as the guy I talked to was very unhelpful as not only did he say they couldn't transfer my shares he also told me it was basically impossible to set up international share trading from overseas even though I'm a CommSec client. After a bit of thought I tried calling back several times over a few days only for my call to drop out before connecting. After some investigating calling CBA and emailing CommSec it looks like the jabroni blocked my number and once I did manage to get through again the next guy I got couldn't have been more helpful and all he needed to do was update my phone number from my old aussie one to my international one. Once that was done, it literally took 2 minutes on CommSec website to set up and all you need is your drivers licence. I am still unsure on whether I will have access through them for my existing shares though.

So not sure what to believe at the moment but there seems to be good info coming through from TV and others here so unbelievably I might have to rely on HC rather than advice from CommSec for this issue...
