TIE could be great. PRU are already operating in Côte d'Ivoire and its a well run mining jurisdiction. TIE just need to show that the mine is running nicely, but at that point I fear they will probably rerate and the upside value to PRU will be lost.

Starting to think PRU should start thinking about buying a cheap explorer with a big strike length to explore. There is now a complete lack of funds for exploration in Africa and there are some really interesting permits the explorers have. Use some of that cash in the ground. I know they would like something a bit further down the development path, but its really slim pickings. I really would prefer they picked Côte d'Ivoire or Guinea though as they are a bit less daunting for most investors compared to the likes of Mali and Burkina.
