Why is the tarong Power Station still running when the power station emits 9.84 million tonnes of greenhouse gases each year as a result of burning coal.
The local community seems not to worry about this on there door step, what fall out is dropping around the area each and every day of the year. This is a Qld goverment run and owned plant. What about the silica in the fly ash entering the water supply of Nanango.
Has anyone had the opportunity to drink or wash there windows with Nanango water. I have, back last year when contracting to tarong power then involved in the construction of Cougar's pilot plant as a supervisor of the piping and mechanical instalation.
Even back then, way before ignition, nearly every 3rd person i spoke to about why i was in town was egative to the project.
After working at Tarong then involved in the Cougar plant straight after. I was convinced of the cleaner technology and Toped up my CXY holding, now holding 400,000 CXY shares and not interested in selling.
