The reason we are waiting for Boeing is because a service bulletin is being re-written. I actually think this is a good thing because of the other applications in the pipeline, for the 737 models. This is the only test that they have requested, albeit a long one. But the CIC compound I am guessing gets applied for the next applications - so the next applications are submitted and the core of the technology has been approved by the FAA from the WIFI application and these CIC tests hopefully get ticked off by Boeing, then what is left?
If we went down the STC process, that approval pathway would be needed for every operator that wants the technology - I think that in itself brings in problems with data sharing amongst all the operators, given they are competitors to each other.
