Yes, mathematically inevitable in a last man standing head to head between Russia and Ukraine.

Ukraine is only in the fight as long as NATO wants it to go on as Ukraines self sufficiency in arms and munitions is minimal. If/when NATO pulls the pin it would be over in months. Why NATO might pull the pin? - Economic distress and lack of popular support for war.

Politically it might take too long for Russia to do it too though.....so its a game of geopolitical chicken right now. Will NATO or Russia buckle first? Drone attacks by Ukraine inside russia feed political support in Russia to take out Ukraine once and for all. As you are aware thats easier said than done when NATO are feeding maximum munitions to the Ukraine proxy forces. Manpower is becoming a serious issue in Ukraine but we have a ways to go yet till the cupboard is completely bare. a new batch of kids turn 18 every year.
