Between retail and the directors there's enough to block a disrespectful takeover offer. I don't think we should be selling ourselves short.
Just bringing this up because of the posters discussing takeovers earlier. I think we should wait to get a better grasp on just how big this could be. Canadians think it's in the 10's of billions.
Would be curious to hear what you guys would consider a "fair" early takeover offer?
2bn MC? 3? I doubt a major would be paying that much (they might) until we have more data at which point the MC hopefully reflects that.
