PLS need to look at their contracts based on the sc6 prices I've just seen - which I won't post here as I dont want to create panic.
However, upon review of the last round of sc producers in Oz, they are all ahead of PLS pricing (now and forecast). Not sure if anyone else noticed that. They need to devote some attention to this.
One of the IBs that covers PLS even raised the contracted volumes as a risk given some of these will come off contract (expire) at end of CY24 which coincides with increasing 'oversupply' in their model. I think some of this pain can be mitigated by looking at contract terms now otherwise valuations for PLS are going to continue to fall away.
