Trouble is, this statement is at odds with aggressive capital returns.
And the fact that we are getting a mere 4c out of the 30c [*] for which Morrison's was sold (and, to boot, the final dividend is being bundled into that 4c), doesn't instill a great deal of confidence in me that capital returns will enjoy priority over empire-building.
[*] Pre-tax, admittedly. Not sure what the tax leakage will be
