That some people have bought above the approx. $8.72 takeover price suggests,
1/ a mistake has been made
2/ people expect another and higher bid
3/ people expect the authorities to deny the bid with Origin to stay as is and trade higher
4/ or some people want a small capital loss.
Buying above $8.72 continues so it can't be a mistake, can it? I'd be happy with a higher bid but don't know where it's coming from. Having the bid knocked back is a real possibility. Whether ORG would trade higher is in the realm of who knows.
