Our CEOKevin MacNeill, who is a huge fan of oresorting, started with oresorting trials from a large low-grade historic stockpile at Mt Carbine to a stage where our two Tomra sorters are the focal point of our primary ore treatment process ahead of traditional#gravityseparation processing. It's been a real game changer for Mt Carbine, producing a dual product stream of beneficiated feed for the gravity plant and inert aggregates ideal for#roadmakingand#construction. That's Mt Carbine's twin ruby-red Tomras (pictured in the background at right), but a great benefit of joining together with#Barruecopardoin#Spain, is not only the comparable geology but that the team atSaloro, S.L.have also begun using Tomra technology at left.
