Vmt sells fleets of bikes which have identical batteries to business customers and offers those businesses charging cabinets so their drivers can leave with a full load and a charged battery after every delivery round.
the same cabinets work for dealers in developing countries to provide batteries as a service to their local customers who live close by and don’t have ready access to electricity to pop in to change the battery on their way past.
it’s a service to Vmt customers not the general public

Imo consumer touring bikes will have big light batteries that haven’t been invented yet and big ranges that work with plug in home or destination recharging until batteries are obsolete or super fast capacitor dump charging or something that takes a couple of minutes becomes available.
