Jibby does a great job with research but not sure how someone holding a lot of stock should put people st ease? Someone who has invested less in monetary value could be investing more than they can afford to lose as everyone's circumstances are different.
Some pretty smart people with deep pockets have lost lots of dough on various investments and I have often heard that statement that such and such have invested so you can't lose, only for them to be wrong.
So please gamble (invest) responsibly.
