actually zinc oxide alone has a consistent very high broad spectrum protection.
to get there u have to combine several chemical filters + stabilizers.
the point ANO is making is that chemical filters are unsafe and pose a risk to health of humans and nature.
the disadvantage is that it's whitening and heavy. u need to add oil for a high protection and consequently it's bad in humid climates + people with oily skin.
