Someone recently recommended that you sell all your shares at the close the day prior it going to Ex Dividend and then buy back all your shares the next day at price a lot lower than the dividend paid.
Example sell 100,000 shares at $4.90 at the close on Monday .
Buy back 104255 shares at $4.70 on the open the next day when it goes Ex Dividend .
I am not sure about this strategy, what do you guys think ?
