@VOGC what do you think the chances are that they will test the unit 2 (now considered higher pressure 1B) section in A3? My non expert gut feeling is they won’t want to try and set a zone packer above Alameda because they will have to stuff around with the mud and risk/ reward associated with packers and plugs to separate the highly pressurised lower plays compared to unit 1b deep (old unit 2) and doing so not being worth it?

Better not to compromise the casing above alameda and focus on the deep plays only?

Testing unit 1B deep would also add 3 weeks to the rig time when production is priority only adding unnecessary delay to valuable rig time and commencement of well A4.
