Hey Triage, no doubt SL exudes confidence but calling him arrogant seems unfair.
Simon has repeatedly stated that he was merely a sounding board for GCY's obviously maligned existing IP.

"Ok guys if I could give you 1 million dollars where would you like to drill"?
Wouldn't Simon have kept the above quiet if he wanted to grab all the accolades?

@plough I feel chuffed that you made a nice profit out of GCY. I sold a few last year back when it hit 37c and bought them back in several parcels between 10c and 12.5c.
Sold a few last week at 28c but still holding onto plenty.
Nothing wrong with turning over the soil between harvests!

@pbawley I asked Simon last week, what targets he is most excited to drill out.
The answer was pretty much verbatim to your category b) reason for holding.

"b) If the historical drill hits up the north end of the main pit were released as new fresh results today, I think the market would see them as a stronger indicator that there is actually a structure there."

I think I will go one step further and predict that this area is already lighting up with further drilling. Simon would not be making these hyperbolic claims without some form of evidence.
The drill cores generally give a pretty good indication on whether they are hitting mineralisation or not. My guess is we could be hearing about VG in multiple cores in the not-too-distant future. Just a hunch, not investment advice.

@speculator101 you're very brave to continue holding onto your full position after the tumultuous experience you've had investing in GCY over the years.
You're really giving this SPR team a vote of confidence.
All the best mate, fingers crossed this turns into your DEG/BGL mark 2.
