Thanks Rona..if I may clarify and I am just going by amb's data. My mention of failures for include: take overs, closures, back door listings, retirements, all come under that category for me in some sense.
It means that at some point, in the growth phase of a company, normally around Yr 7 or 8, Yr 2 or 3, or Yr 11 or 12 that there was a weakness, a failure with vision or failure to realise an asset, high COGS, competitor saturation, patent or product failure, investors deserting, or debt burden wiping them out and (so on and so forth) I have seen 100's like this over the years, and do know a little about it.
But if you are just referring to amb's numbers and my reference of failure, I would be happy to see your data on the numbers too.
