If your fertile pegs outcrop you take rock chips - but the lithium fertile pegs exist in a zone a certain distance from the intrusion where the temperature was just right. If they don't outcrop you do soil samples over the whole area. That is what we are seeing today.
The presence of Li and Ta suggests Li fertile pegs under cover, and the Rb at up to 0.3% suggests the 'hotter' pegs might hold Rubidium. Very valuable, more so than Li.
