Well, 40 years ago, according to the greens, we were still dragging our knuckles on the ground.
Much more civilized now, if a criminal comes into my house I need to ask him politely to either leave my premises or if he would be so kind to at least make it fair by giving me 20 minutes to get the key, take the gun out of my safe, open the toolbox with the bolt and bullets and load my gun.
If he doesn't agree then I do try and warn him to please take it easy going down the stairs with my goods because if he trips or hurts himself or one of his 5 companions (you know how brave these lot are). Have to do this otherwise my public liability insurance is going to go through the roof.
