These are great international cities with excellent infrastructure, healthcare system and cleanliness, good weather and very sophisticated people. Cheap and regular flights out of these cities to any other country.
Southeast Asia is too humid and more polluted and massive rich/poor divide, beggars everywhere next to 5 star hotels. Bangkok has good infrastructure and world class private hospital but has too much air pollution and way too hot. Chiangmai is good choice if you are retired and in budget, tons of Europeans living there on retirement visas.
Forget Canada if you want to freeze to death during winter and the country way too isolated, but good choice if you are into ski, then definitely stay at Vancouver near Mt Whistler. Forget US, American dream is long gone, there is a sense of hopelessness amongst the general population and you never know who is carrying a gun, it's very depressing. There's more gender neutral toilets than Australia.
Forget Central and South America, entire continent of thieving culture. Forget Middle East, it you're not Muslim the locals will never accept you. Forget Africa, you'll be harassed everywhere as a white person by locals who want your money. Forget Europe, the whole economy is stagnant, many Europeans are leaving for Asia because they can't afford utility bills, especially Germany. French have a great work life balance but if you don't speak French you're an outcast. Forget London it has no soul and literally no local British family live there, 100% of people is in London for one reason - making money, the culture is toxic. North Europe is best place in Europe, people are humble and everything is done right, but really crazy weather.
