I’m agnostic … a merit based future is what I would like to see … I am over virtue signalling and whistling from the left and me too luvvies … way too much hubris to think the West can afford to squander time and effort on fluffy, largely meaningless virtue.
My thoughts are that if the likes of China, Russia and Iran get bypassed by a successful, innovative green energy rich rich transition in the West then despite the current distraction of a push to virtuocracy in the West, that meritocracy will prevail … forward, not backwards.
But the transition to renewables is way more complex than my simple wishes … to be a truly successful transition, the poorer, more populous nations have to be encouraged and enticed to join in … I like that FMG are working towards a global positioning.
