Having said that, if they've set up a commission to deal with the Morilla/FFX issues, you can imagine the government (officials) will wait for that to conclude before responding to Leo and Ganfeng, especially as it sounds like they should by law return the tax collected.
I am just glad Ganfeng are at the negoatiting table with us (unlike FFX), and that rational self-interest prevails. i.e. if the Malian government screws Goulamina, they will have no new multu-billion dollar mining company.
I also expect the Chinese are smart enough to make sure everything is squared away before shipping any serious capital equipment across.
