These GLP-1 drugs have been around for 5 years already. You have also been able to buy it as a tea (Herba Mate) for decades. I'm not sure why the market is getting so worked up about Eli Lily.
As others have pointed out, obesity is not the only cause of Sleep Apnea. Some statistics put the number of people with sleep apnea and obesity at 40 - 70%, but that doesn't mean its causal. As others have pointed out, Sleep apnea can cause obesity as well. Will the size of the funnel potentially reduce? yes of course, but it's a structurally increasing market, one that Philips just gave up. Sure it's likely to have some impact, but you are paying 18x For company still growing at 10 - 15%.
Different story if you were paying 40x. I'm happy to take the risk for that multiple.
