However, from what my ex told me, if you have money, be careful. She will be going back there for a visit this month to see relatives and sell up.

She was raised in a well to do family with servants but migrated when on 2 occasions she and her son had guns pointed at them in their car. She told me most houses are well locked up as there are many gangs of desperate thieves around.

Perhaps it has improved so it will be interesting to hear her report when she returns to Australia.

I'm not sure how long ago that was but the new guy seems to have locked up most of the gangs and crime is at lows from what i see in the news, the President popularity is in the 90%'s.

UN complaining he's locked up the gangs with special laws.
