LOL. what cave?? was skiing champ, hitting the slopes, perfect spring weather, the failure of MFG (again) was the last thing on my mind. I do enjoy a FUM update of course, couldn't wait to get back to it....!
why don't u ask management why the FX isn't stripped away from performance?? (like every other fund manager does and presents?)...smokescreen central!
Is it so difficult to provide a table that clearly shows:
Opening FUM
- Client flows
- Fund perf
+ FX impacts (not real)
= Closing FUM
Surely the ex-PWC CFO can handle that??
but maybe, just maybe, they dont want to show it....?? why?? doesnt take a genius
The FX has been the ONLY true out-performer, doesn't change the fact that client accounts are seeing RED in native currency, this will snowball the outflow redemptions....!
