Yes you would think that - as would most retail holders. Past experience with many pre revenue companies upon entering the ASX300 is they become a plaything for the shorters and the BEOT. Funds do become olbliged to build up positions but they generally try to accumulate at the lowest price possible. Many also will then lend their shares to shorters while the company is in the pre production lull phase. Not saying its a bad thing necessarily - it can provide great buying opportunities. Just expect the share price to start behavong counterintuitively at times as the mind games begin.
