By Bards ( googles AI ) understanding "HSBC nominees Australia is required to submit a form 603 substantial holder notice to ASIC and AW1 if they have acquired 7% of the shares in AW1.
The notice must be submitted within 10 business days of reaching the 5% threshold.The definition of a substantial holder in Australia is a person who holds, or is deemed to hold, 5% or more of the voting shares in a company. A nominee account is considered to be a single holder for the purposes of the substantial holder rules.
This means that if ( and it is an if) HSBC nominees Australia is holding shares on behalf of multiple clients, they will still be considered to be a substantial holder if they hold 5% or more of the shares in AW1."
That being said I have followed it up with both Dave and Sarah Shipway because if for no other reason that is one enormous chunk of the AW1 pie that they have acquired over the past 4 weeks.
