Because with deals like these, anything can/could happen. I think the BOD would have said the $150M is for our planned trails and we aren't going to dig into that cash, if we want to purchase this new allogeneic CART T license we need to raise the money and set that aside for it. Totally good management and decision from BOD. I can hear them now "We will cop a lot of shit from the HC experts but this is the deal of the century". This will get to market very quickly and have the other 6 CART T BP treatments way too expensive compared to IMUS plus it makes our oncartlytics so so much more valuable. One issue I had with oncartlytics was it was going to be expensive to join up with one or all the current CART T BPs. Now we have slashed the cost with this off-the-shelf allogeneic CART T. So clever our BOD, it is probably more LCs idea.
