What shareholders of WHC actually want the assets? If we got it for a bargain, then sure, but $5b? No thank you. It would be nice for WHC to come out and publicly say they are out of the race. Seems the bad news is priced in, but would undoubtedly fall further should confirmation of a purchase come out. A cap raise would be worst case scenario for sure.
