her job as Minister for Aboriginal Affairs means advocating for the Voice is in her job description. you call her a leftie, but this only means you dislike her for not being like you. The Voice is a major policy position for the Lab Gov that they announced prior to the election. they therefore have a mandate to try to fulfil that promise. just as Howard, Abbott, Trunball and other right wing PMs have claimed. isn't it right that they should push for the Voice?

its only democracy E. you say that I am "a nonstop supporter here of bigger, higher taxing, government.". ...... but you misjudge me. I too want smaller Gov with less taxation. but there are imperatives that should not be ignored, eg the deficient state of revenue in contrast to spending. the last 3 Govs cut revenue and increased spending so they increased deficits and national Gov debt to previously unthinkable levels. was this the right thing to do?

so of course the Lab Gov is trying to repair the deficits and decrease the debt.... a very difficult job - would you prefer they didn't fix the state of the Gov economy?
