PLS may not have enough money to be involved in a takeover, but they certainly would be great merger partners IMO.

They have ample cash (around $3B) to support their own current expansion and diversity plans as well as contribute to the completion of LTR's forward plans.

They, like LTR also have a large retail shareholder base.

Keep the big individuals from getting control IMO, who really don't give a toss about retail holders. Both LTR and PLS value their shareholder base.
    Keep both 100% Aussie.
Most likely rid us both of the shorter SBs.
