I've never said I know more than Joe. I've just mentioned that he's repeatedly made dubious statements about contract pricing, without ever being able to point to a company's quarterly results to back that up. The only reason people here are keen to listen to him at the moment is because he is saying what they want to hear. If he was saying contract prices are $20k per tonne (which is actually closer to the real price than what he is quoting), you'd all be screaming bullish*t and demanding the evidence. But feed us a high price, and everyone's happy to take his word for it, no details required. Funny that.

I'm not sitting here quoting the spot price is the contract price, but it is a trend indicator. I am however quoting the Q2 contract prices from two of the major South American brine producers. How do you reconcile the prices that are listed in AKE's and SQM's quarterly results, when they are half the amount "Slippery Joe" is quoting? Are AKE and SQM committing an offence by fudging their quarterly financials when they have a fiduciary responsibility to be accurate? Or is the paid industry shill who has no responsibility to be accurate/honest, and who has a vested interest in the high contract price narrative just telling porkies? I know which information I trust.
