You're most probably right, and to be honest I don't believe we have UM. But I've searched for any stated retention metric and found nothing other than what Khoutam found about it being increased by several years. All we've been told is that retention is adequate for storage class memory which seems to indicate it is over the line but not amazing. This was stated in 2017. As the TMT article stated, they believe that retention would increase in line with read and write speed improvements. They've also noted that the upper limits of retention and endurance couldn't be accurately quantified due to lack of testing time and Human Resources. This seems to boil down to longer retention and endurance. We know for sure this is the case for endurance. All we can do is take them at their word and expect the same for retention. Based on their stated expectations, we can assume, at the very least, that retention will be better than adequate.
