Benchmark lithium prices hit about $90,000 a metric ton in November. Prices are now about $60,000 a metric ton, down 33%. It's a steep drop, and Rai sees more declines ahead. She sees prices falling to $34,000 a metric ton over the next 12 months, citing slowing demand growth for EV, and more lithium production. This was back in February of this year a prediction made on the lithium price.

Today its not far off at $37,000 per metric ton.

By February next year it might well be lower than what they thought it was going to be.
A perfect storm so to speak.

Also solid state batteries will be in new cars in the next 18 months.
Think PLS ought to be looking at what is coming in solid state or graphene batteries
and have materials to sell for these future markets over just the lithium based ones.

There is also lithium sulphur which another Aussie company is doing but stock price gone from $2.10 to 23c in a year so they
    may well not survive.

Buy in fear as they say.
