It still stands that in the absence of a higher bid the board will support ALB at $3.00.
Gina isn't bidding and her 7.7% isn't enough to stop ALB if the board is locked in by its previous statement. I hope they can wriggle out but who knows...the game is still on.
PS. I emailed the company again today to point out that for many shareholders a $3.00 all cash offer is worse than a $2.40 script deal and you wouldn't sell it for $2.40.
